Reccomend me a 6.5"

Can one of you guys help me out? I really want to get these speakers and I think I'm gonna get the same setup the OP has but according to Crutchfield these don't fit. I have a 2001 Civic Coupe and I need to know exactly what I need to do to make them fit. I'm a completee noob so I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

That's what I have if you look at the sig. Crutch is way off! I am having M-6's that are 6.75" x 3" put in the doors and they say it can't be done. I also have 6x9's that are 3.5" depth in place now which it appears they say can't fit. Measure or buy from someone that has a good return policy.

What are you trying to fit BTW??

I'm trying to fit the Pioneer REVs 6.5" into my front doors. I talked to the customer service guy and he said I have to drill new holes and use a mounting bracket to make them fit. Is this accurate?

That sounds right. My 5.25's in the doors now we gutted the speaker out and used its flange to mount these. For the 6.5's I am having put in it will be a wood ring or adapter plate. I think on some of it Crutchfield's install specs are to leave everything untouched totally. I do know on my Daughter's Cavalier they say around a 3" 6x9 in the rear but I went out and looked and it has zero cross bars in the way so I could go to the spare tire level about 20" with one so take their specs with a grain of salt.
