Rearfill or truck sub

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I havent bought anything yet I keep changing my mind but maybe you guys could help me. I already have a Eclipse 8454 and planning to get DLS MS6 components. This is what I was thinking:

Option 1: Two 6.5 woofer type drivers in rear factory locations

(peerless/tang band/options welcomed)

Keep spare tire

Option 2: One 10 or 12 SQ sub w/ small requirements in spare tire well

(arc/id/options welcomed)

Ditch spare tire

Keep factory rear speakers

Amplifier selection based on option.

ditch the rear speakers...

get a nice subwoofer that will work well in small sealed enclosures (IDQ, OZ Matrix Elite, Soundstream Exact)

the holes where the rears speakers use to be will function as sorta like ports (bass will get into your cabin)

Like slammed said if you have a trunk that has rear speaker holes in it that is a real plus. Just put some dynamat on the underside of the rear deck and fire those subs towards the back of the trunk/taillights.

Sorry about the title i have a 2000 celica. I was thinking about putting some 8in subwoofers in but dont know how much modification i will need to do to the rear locations. As for putting a sub in the tire well, how will the empty rear speaker holes serve as ports into the cabin?

Are there any 6 or 7 woofers that will play low like a subwoofer? I already looked at tang band and peerless. I kinda dont want to remove the spare but will if that seems to be the better way to go
