Rear view mirror vibrating way to much

does anybody know how i can stop the rattle from my rear view mirror its like a twang noise and i cant think of a way to stop it other then ripping it off and getting a billet piece...thanks

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring which is the same thing as an eclipse from interior to engine. the only thing diff is the outside body panels. you cant stop the mirror shakeing with out replacing it and that may not even help. my widow has come loose and thats what is ratteling on mine. might try to get that resealed if its a big problem

I have a Stratus R/T, again, the same car, and my mirror makes quite a bit of noise, plus it's pretty worthless. The first good bass note that hits, and I'm looking at my hand on the shifter. Another thing that bugs me is the stupid clock pod and radio surround rattling.

yea it is pretty worthless and i dnt even wanna turn my subs up because of the noise it makes ... its soooooooo annoying ... i feel like supergluing so it cant move lol

I would just take it off and buy a new one, i almost had to do that for my other car because it rattled way too much, but i just sold mys ubs lol

would a billet one help? cuz i knw if i hold the little tab on the back of the rear view mirror that makes it darker or wutever it stops rattlin, but i dnt wanna have to hold it the whole time i drivin lol

Soon as my bass hits a nice low note, looks like my mirror wants to run and hide lol! Dosent make much noise though. Must be the bass overtaking that sound.

Just do what I used to do. Slid it on and when at home. Then when you leave just slid it off. When you come back home, slid it back on. Moms wont know a diff.
