Well douchebag they we trying to say there is no need for one cause legally u don't need one and they just rattle, there is no way around it, this shit happens when u have a system, so either gt rid of that mirror, get over it, or sell ur system and get outta tha game.

like you called me a douchebag, no need for that. cause i heard like you can like put foam...or stuff like that up in the cracks of it. i didn't know if it was true so i didn't mention it. but thanks i don't think my dad would approve of me driving with out one.

i think its cool how it shacks, it looks neat at night when you can see peoples tail lights and headlights bouncin up and down, and if i took mine out my side mirrors shack to so it wouldnt even matter

hey man i have this exact same problem and i posted this question also

i was looking at mine today and i realised it MIGHT be able to slide of the thing it's mounted on....and i am thinking to put a small piece if sound deading material on the end piece and then mount it back up

anyone think's this would work ?

well, most mirrorsare secured with a bolt or something liek that, tighten taht for all its worth, taht will help..

then, the only other way.. is to cahnge teh resonant frequency of teh mirror itself..

how to do taht? add soem weight to it... lead tape works nicely..

lots of it..

but make sure to tighten the bolt first.

cmon now guys, this isnt the place for flaming, its for helping, he had a valid point about his mirror, to behonest, i ahve had to design like 3 enclosures so far, as MY dad wouldnt let me fibreglass in teh spare tire well, look at reality, not everyone is 25 and not everyone has no limitations, go easy on him just relax, this isnt the place for it..

its not constructive...
