I have components in the front powered by an amp and a set of coaxials in the rear powered by my head unit. How much louder should the front stage be than the rear fill? Thanks.

Well, You should adjust the loudness so that you can hear the rear speakers barely, but not overpowering the front. Thats what I have heard since I have been into car audio. Hope this helps!
