Rear fill for 6X9

I know I know...6X9's are crap. I hate them, you prolly hate them too. My problem is that this is what I have. I dont want to alter it. What would be a nice sounding rear fill for my rear deck? I'm running a us amps 4085 on them.

6x9s arent crap - they are just old school

I love 6x9s brutha,back when Pyle was USA made

they had the most killer 6x9's made,but thats 20 years ago

I would look into Polk and Diamond

I have an older set of Pioneer Premier ByNines ~ TS-E6990s ~ and they sound goooood. Feed 'em the 70w they're rated for max RMS and they wanged pretty good! Why dont you just use $10 adapter plates? you can always turn it back to stock so your not really modifying much

arent adapaters also available so you can attach 6.5" speakers to your existing "6x9" factory location? i swear ive seen them somewhere

that is correct but i dont see why everyone is against 6x9's. find some nice 6x9's and you will be happy but thats my oppinion. good luck

Where can you find the adapters? Or what could I search for? 6X9 to 6.5 adapters?

I've never had very good luck with 6X9's...they always do weird things (warp, etc)
