idk my friend had a level and they rated 2000max if im not mistakin and he ran 2400 and he destroyed it with in seconds

DC can change the subs to a Dual 2 ohm if u want. I asked when I was also considering that sub. So that means you can wire them at 2ohms.

Which will open up some amp options. Along with that, I see ur considering the AQ750. I'm looking into that amp too, hear its awesome and almost never, if at all, gets warm. You might wanna consider the alpine MRX-M50, same price as the AQ when shipped. IDK which is better but people have complained that the damping of the AQ is 150, while the Alpines is ">1000" which from what I understand is really good. Does anyone have an opinion between the two?

I just hope the alpine doesnt run hot and is more reliable than the MRP-M500.

As for the subs, I considered all 3. I could not find any info on the Fi X. Dcon is awesome apparently but if you wan SPL the DC lvl2 should be perfect. Only thing that I didnt like about it is apparently it has a foam surround, but I could be wrong.

lol i dont run DC. i have and audioque that is rated exactly the same and 1krms 2kmax and i run the same amp so the same 2400 and my sub never gets hot... i can play it all day. so yea i guess im an idoit???

Thanks for the input Moofs. I really like the AQ750. I think I might change direction completely with the amp though. Maybe I'll look for 600 watts at 2 ohms instead of over/underpowering the subs with the aq or alpine, and just get 2 level 2's that are 2-ohm DVC.. my only question is, what is the difference (if any) performance wise between DVC and SVC?
