Really compact, but high output

I'd like to put a bad *** sub in my 92 Mustang hatchback, but I'd like to make it as compact as possible. What would yall recommend? Maybe a JL 8W7 & a 500/1? What box design?

I would look into two 6.5s in a very good box. Maybe Elemental Designs EU700s or some Mpyres or some RE XXX mids. With about 250 rms a piece... That would do it. Ive seen it before

focal 33v2. a 13 inch sub that performs in 1.25 cubes ported. tuned to 34hz. sounds really nice in that small box.

It still amazes me to see how many threads start out with people wanting JL's or thinking JL's are the best or that JL's will give them the most bass. You'd be much better off with the less known companies like Fi, RE, Soundsplinter or one of many other great companies.

500-1000 watts a 10" FI SSD

one single 12" ina one cubic foot box sealed on abut 400 watts should be plenty for you. with the right sub you could go as deep as only 6-7" in depth and just stretch from side to side for the rest of the air psace
