I can change this?
So i just got a HiFonics amp for my front speakers and some power horns. i hooked everything up and it sounded great, so it was time to mount it to my box next to my other amp. After I hooked it up I turned the car on and holy crap is there some BAD engine noise. i don't know where it came from because the only thing I changed in the setup is that it is mounted, so I unmounted it and still the same problem.

What would cause this?

Also, my ground is great. The only time the RCA's touch the ground is for about a one inch stretch through a hole and the ground itself is screwed straight onto the body of the car.

How is the amplifier mounted? Is it mounted where the screws are going into the vehicle's sheet metal? Also, you wouldn't happen to have a Pioneer head unit, would you?

Well that's doo doo.. that ***** was $500.

The whine gets louder as my RPMs go up. Like if I slowly start pushing the gas it sounds like I'm in an airplane taking off.

You probably blew the Pico fuse on you HU which has to be one of the few things I HATE about Pioneer Head Units because it is so easy to blow.
Yep that is most likely what happened to my deck, I mean shit I like the deck it just is annoying that happened and caused me so much stress lol. I am almost positive it happened in this citation also even if it is a different brand deck.
