Realized I have a Super Nintendo at home...put it in the car?

I completely forgot that I have an SNES & NES in my tv cabinet (I never look in there). I thought to myself how cool it'd be to hook it up to my DVD player if it's possible. I already have an 155w inverter in my car for my fiance's breathing machine (she has bad asthma and I keep a spare breathing machine in my car just in case). Is there something I can buy that will convert the coax cable to RCA? How could this be wired?

Also, I don't have much room at all under my seats and was thinking about putting this in the trunk...i know, i know, it would be hard to change games, but I likely never would. It'd just be for a "cool" factor I suppose. Is there some mod I can do to lengthen the controller's cord? Any help would be appreciated. Wasn't sure to put this in the Video section or not, so mods, feel free to move it if need be.

honestly i think having an xbox or ps whatever in your car is retarded.... but i wouldn't mind seeing some old school systems in cars.

I think it would be more for a "wow" factor than being able to play it. To me, it's just kind of neat.

Anyway...anyone got ideas on how to get this hooked up?

Check eBay, sometimes they have adapter cables that go from coax to RCA. Either that or Radio Shack.

it' easy as **** to do....i have an N64 with golden eye in mine....and every now and then when a buddy and i are waiting for any given reason (gf getting off work, friend picking up a bag, fiend at a gas station, the drive through if u pay attention.... anything.....)...we play out a few rounds in multiplayer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif completely practical IMO for when you have those extra 5-20min of waiting on someone......quality entertainment....

Yeah buddy of mine put a ps2 where the airbags in his firebird used to be. With nice sized screen. We would put in Gran Turismo and start the race at a stop sign. He would punch it when the race started. Cheap thrills.
