real vids of my system.

okay well apparently youve never driven a stick. i would prefer a stick in the snow compared to an auto because of many reasons one is you can keep the car in a higher gear witch would keep the tires from spinning, if you do get your dumb *** stuck in the snow in a wrx you can rock it alot easier than an auto (keep it in first and use the clutch) also you dont need to use youre breaks to slow down witch could cause the car to spin you can just down shift and if you actually know how to drive you dont spin your tires up a hill its not that hard my friend. and youre legs dont get tired =P if they do you might have some issues. and yes i do have a car. and i will apologize for the slap yourself comment on driving a auto =P my bad. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
just stop talking.

its called 1 2 3 d

thatsd what i use, same thing as manual minus clutch,

still have to "rev match" to keep from humongous engine braking.

Have you tried firing the sub in different directions? And different boxes?
I highly doubt your getting as much output inside the cab, as you should be.
dont have time, now that winter is around and i have space in the garage i will be expirementing, it is pretty loud as it is. for sealed anyway.

i like that feature, i gotta save up for the WRX for sure now, u gonna put a shift kit in it soon or u gonna wait till after winter? how much boost did ur WRX put out from factory?

manny1337, i have drivin stick, non turbo n non supercharged cars, an old 87 Ranger, 99 SL1, POS Scion TC(celica) n the list goes on, but drivin in traffic legs get tired, specially goin up n down for the stop n go, u can just save urself an extra pump just startin in 2nd gear but wit an auto u just move wit ur ankle n ur butt gets tired well b4 ur ankle, i personally havent needed to rock a car cuz i just make a small path behind or in from of the tires n just hit the gas n the car has no problem, but u do need to use ur breaks cuz if all u do is downshift then dumb pple arent gonna notice n wit ur break lights not commin on then pple will rear-end u n cause alotta damage n money, plus i dont like the sound of downshift(atleast wit the SL1, doesnt sound healthy on that lil motor) but ya goin up a hill is 1 thing but wit ice or snow on it gets kinda hectic, if it takes too long to get up it u might lose patience n hit the gas n pop the clutch thus spinnin ur tires
what you mean shift kit?

and x2 on the manual paragraph.

yes i have driven a stick, a civic, which is the most forgiving and easiest cars to learn on, and i was getting tired of it after 15 min.

lol my legs have never gotten tired from driving =P. and you dont have to use your breaks if there isnt anyone around =P and if someone is that close to you in the snow then they are asking for an accident lol
thats cause your gay and your on your knees all the time.

poor & bitter?
INdeed.

Sc

thats gotta be one of the loudest rattles i've ever heard!

haha np, i ended up having to go home anyway.

Haters gonna hate
what else is new...

lol @ auto/manual argument.....I prefer manual for the control side in my 4x4's and sporty little cars, and auto in my luxury and hp cars.

why dont you go work the corner a few more years, maybe you will be able to afford to live in a box.

hah, wow. i prefer a stick due to control, but also live in the middle of no where, i don't have nerve damage, and i am a huge car guy. I would rather have an auto in the 7 series i will own sooner or later though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Nice vids cookie...get that bad boy painted soon man

lol my legs have never gotten tired from driving =P. and you dont have to use your breaks if there isnt anyone around =P and if someone is that close to you in the snow then they are asking for an accident lol
Get an aftermarket clutch and your leg would probably get tired. I have an act2600 on my talon and my leg gets tired pretty fast if I have to sit in traffic for too long. Id still rather have a stick in a car like mine or wrx though.

$14000 is well worth a WRX, i wish i can afford the STI, but id rather have an auto, look at most drag cars, most got powerglides in them, u dont lose momentum n chirp the tires in the gears like u would wit stick, im willin to bet that a race between an auto of 1 fast car n a manual of the exact car n both drivin by pros that the manual will have a slower quarter mile time

Don't usually argue with people, but this statement is completely false. The reason for having powerglides/lenco's is for consistency in bracket classes. For obvious reasons, a manual can't be consistent to the 10 thousandths of a second that a two speed auto can. However, they are much more efficient, no matter how you look at it.

We have a few drag cars- one being a Cavalier with an 813ci Sonny motor. We switch out the ******'s depending on the class we're running in, and with a 5speed it'll do about 6.50 in the quarter, and with a powerglide it does 6.80's.

Nearly every heads up class run manuals, rules permitting.

maybe wit faster cars, but i never seen a fast car that wasnt a muscle car, i go to the drag strip just to watch the muscle cars, but between me n my moms car, i used to have a 95 2.0L SOHC Neon auto n she has a 99 Saturn SL1 1.9L SOHC 5-speed, i do notice that her car off the line is faster but gettin up to speed my neon witout a doubt was faster gettin up to speed even wit the lil wheel hop i get off the line wit the neon, i might b able to get up to speed a lil fast wit the saturn is i just didnt use the clutch n just throw it into gear but since its not my car i dont wanna go thru her gears like that...but it does kinda make sense wit that cavalier ur talkin bout, u can get more torque outta the 4 gears u use rather than 2 gears bein used in the powerglide, have u tried gearin the powerglide differently many times? n i kno wit the powerglide if u stay in the first gear too long or too short ull have slower times, i kno alotta pple go n say their pro n all this but wit that adrenaline the shiftin arm tends to get real excited n may wanna shift a lil early....btw im not arguin or tryna start a fight or anythin but just talkin n statin some words
