Real Old school head unit(?)

I'm looking for a high end old school head unit that is not DIN with rca outputs I have 1969 Camaro and would like to put a good head unit in it with cutting the dash or putting my ken wood excelon ps901 in the glove box. I remember Alpine had some good ones in 80's. I use audio control eq's so I have a modern input for an iPod or iPhone. cd preferred but I don't recall any made like that. Working cassette is not required since those things are long gone. I saw an alpine add in vintage audio but I couldn't read the model

I think we still have a Yamaha cassette player in excellent shape at the shop that was recently gone through by our in house tech. I'll have to check when we open back Tuesday.
