Here's how the idmax v4's curve will look like in a few variations sealed and ported.
They all look like good curves but as you can see with the ported box, there's a nice bump in the range where most music will be. So basically the ported box can do everything a sealed box can and more except in the 10 hz range but most music will not even go down that low anyway. If the 30-40hz range is too much bass for you, you can EQ it down to make a flatter response too. This sub can work very well in an Infinite Baffle install as well if you wanna save space and weight.
