Been considering picking up a few RE8"s . I wouldnt mind a front console enclosure to bring some midbass kick up front. Can one of y'all point me in the right direction to get some of these. Im looking to get a pair. Willing to buy used. I know this should be a wanted ad in the class. but I want to know a little more about them. Anyone who has them let me know what your experience and opinions are.

175 watts RMS, 250 max, .247 cb. sealed, .50 cb. ported. .09 diaplacement, 4'' mounting depth, old ones single 2 ohm, new ones double 4 ohm, one of the best 8'' subs for the money. Get them and ported them, than :veryhappy

well i have a decent set of comps in the ride right now. the brahma's are crossed over pretty low and i would like to compensate for the lack of upper bass (250Hz+) and midbass with a pair. Not planning on using them as subwoofers, so should I consider something else?? I am planning on using the center console up front as an enclosure. And I doubt i'd have enough space to port them. I'll have to take some measurements today and see what it's volume is. Thanks.

They aren't meant to play 250 hz+. They are subwoofers...nothing else. Get some midbasses like the Vifa 7s or something like that. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to components. I'm sure others will give you some better options.
