RE8 Ported Volume Question

Hi everyone, I just bought 2 RE8's for the group buy and trying to plan out a box i plan on having built for me. The problem is that these things are going into a reg. cab ranger, so there isnt much room behind the seats. Has anyone put the RE8's in a ported box..and if so, what is the volume you put it into? RE states the rec. volume is .5, but at that volume, the box is getting big, and im not sure how to get my 2 amps mounted in the truck. Any help is greatly appreciated. THanks!

half a cube? thats not big. if your vehicle is in fact small, you'll prolly want to look into fiberglass. research research research.
