I ordered my RE8's last week and was told they would be shipped the next day, so hopefully they will come in sometime this week.

Box Specs

.8^3 ft. per speaker

Tuned to 35.5 hz.

Car: 1997 Buick Riviera

Sorry about the picture quality, I will take pics with my brothers camera for the rest of the project.

Got the ports together, the divider and left side are glued down.

Everything mocked in. (ports and baffles not glued)

Wanted to try bjfish11's carpeting technique, but I did it a little differently, instead of doing a rabbit and the channels, I just put a small rabbit on the ends.

The edges with other sides in place.

Edit: Here is my current set up. 2 12" CVR's tuned to 35 hz. They are to loud for my tastes and the box takes up too much space. The box used to be in my GMC Jimmy.

I went crazy on the screws for this box. It was before I knew more is not better.

i use a rabbit bit the same way on my boxes...ive been doin it for a long time too....? they come out nice and cleeeeeeeeeean that way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I didn't use a router to make the rabbit, I used a table saw. The rabbit is the thickness of the blade.

I table saw I have is a pain to adjust, it is a shopsmith combo that has a lathe and a ban saw on it. The Shopswmith and the blade are older than me.

And PhatTonyDeMarco, not really looking to make boxes for other people. I don't have very good tools, or a whole lot of spare time. Sorry man.

Got everything glued together, and started the carpet.

Got the carpet glued and pressed into the rabbit. It is hard to see in this picture, but it is in there really well.

Here is a picture to help you gain some perspective on these beasts. That ain't a nickel!!!

When I started carpeting the rest of the box, the carpet started tearing while I was pressing it into the groove. I ordered some carpet from partsexpress which I should have done in the first place. So this project is on hold for a couple more days.
