If its the old Xxx pre 06 its the better apparently I have 4 of them myself and im impressed with the two im running now the newer models get loud but loose their musical ability at higher excursion where the old style motor keeps it clean even during high volumes

Now this is just hear say I have yet to hear a new model Xxx although they do look beastly...

I think it's an 07, split coil if that makes any sense?
