RE XXX or RD Audio Heavyweight

I'm looking for a good sounding sub, one that sounds good in a wide spectrum of htz, Highs and lows, needs to also get loud. Going to run 2 T2000bd rockfords. I have a relatively small trunk (dodge charger) not sure if I want to run 2 12's or 1 15. Hoping to be in the mid to high 140's, and sounding great. money is not really a consideration. I would like to run 2 15's but don't think I have enough air space. Can someone help a relatively "GREEN" car audio inductee. Thanks in advance.

How much space are you working with for just the sub enclosure?

If i want Sq go with the XXX.. If you want to sound good and get very loud then go with the Heavyweight... Dont get me wrong the XXX will get loud also..

Look into a Dual 1 HeavyWeight SQL, they use the regular HW coil that can take 4k+ daily, but with a softer suspenion, and a few other tweaks that make it a great SQL driver

RE XXX for nice broad music spectrum, RD HW for SPL but will play music fine.

Steve said he would pull out all the stops on customizing the subs, but Im a little reluctant, because I've never heard them. He said he can make me a sub that sounds better and is louder than a XXX Guaranteed! Is this true?

but it isn't a daily sub, the suspension is so stiff you would think is was locked up! it is made to play in a 6^' +/- tuned to 50hz, then it is stupid loud. not for music though

I have... depends on your setup...

Had A 15" SHW Quad 1 with a 4" coil and a longer coil for better SQ ... It would take around 5k+ daily

have you considered a couple Sundown Nightshade 12's very loud and musical
