RE XXX blew, best replacement sub for current setup? (Nine.1 amp)

Hey, I have a custom ported box for the 12 inch XXX (2.5 cubes at 32 hz). For the amp I have an elemental designs nine.1. What would be a good replacement sub that I could just throw in that box and use the amp for, that would be comparable in some way to the xxx?

2 of the lead tinsels broke inside the speaker, and today I attempted to replace them, I guess I will find out tomorrow if the sub is fixed or not. But keeping in mind that shipping for the XXX will probably be like 100 bucks, how much would you pay for my sub if it's not fixed even after replacing the tinsels?

What shipping service? I did an online price calculation for UPS and USPS, and put in 65lbs for weight in a 2 x 2 x 2 box, and it was coming up like over 100 bucks each way on both services. If the shipping is only 100 bucks both ways though I might just send it to Fi for a recone worst comes to worst

I dunno what year it is, but it's the older one that was rated 1600 watts rms. How much is just the motor worth? BTW it's a 12 inch

well sounds like I am going to just send this sub to Fi for a recone if my fix does not work then, I did not know the shipping was that low. How did you get such a low shipping rate?

i packaged it up, took it to a ups store, they weighed and measured the package, and said i owe them x amount of money.
