This Db-r kid is full of shit....the solder issue ison the "new" amp they are sending me to replace the other one they want to keep now . they tell me that the burned chassis ground couldnot be the issue and that everyone who is telling me this well here is the email i just got in a responce:
Only someone who had no clue about how a car stereo amplifier actually works would say something like a burned chassis ground wire would cause clipping etc and dc blah blah.
I just going to put it to you this way:
A. Whoever the people you are talking to, don't know what the hell they are talking about.... LOL That's some funny stuff....
B. I would be after RE to send you some new subs. The only way the output mosfets in these amps blow is from shorted speakers. You also need to invest in a meter so you can properly check everything before you hook it up, or take it to a car stereo shop so when something goes wrong they are responsible...
C. There is no way dB-r is buying you new subs, we just cannot do that. You would have to take us to court
The first amp you got malfunctioned and took your subs out, hes covering his *** by sending you that "new" amp
I have never dealt with either company, and i keep hearing more and more bad things about RE. But this isnt there fault...
What did they sound like when you put power to them?
