Re Vs. DD

You can get good info out of Njcc, if you stroke him correctly. Judging by his replies, I think you found his G-spot.

LMAO.

That was good.

I try to help those that are willing to help themselves, if someone posts a simple honest question, I'll try to help.

Thanks they are 12's and not the 15's but that helps out alot the plan is going to be to have a box for daily and a box for comps. So I guess I do want some sq but am leaning more towards spl. ........
Last I checked, When I picked up my 3515's (paper cap) it was $350ish total.

The SX's, IIRC were around $279+ shipping to my end of NY. But that was a while ago and I'm prolly off.

If you have 2kw @ 1ohm & 8ft^3 NET to work with, I'd recommend the RE SX's.

More power & a lil less space, I'd go DD.

These are my Opinions though. On the other hand, I KNOW that there are other woofers out there that'll do well within your requirements.

Ever ponder a single 15"?

Yeah I know. We've had our differences before, I still respect how you help people. Glad you took it the right way man.

yes I have but I have no clue what to go with. I would really like to use under 8 cubes but I can. I have found that the bigger boxes seem to struggle in my trunk. I had two 15 inch Koves in there and I was only hitting in the low 140's so I figured that I had just simply not given them enough outside space but the box they were in was around 12cubes interior tuned to 48hz.However that was a little over a year ago and I have believe it or not learned alot since then, so maybe I will try one of those for a whileuntil I do a little more research.I just do not want to put one ZM on that amp because I blew three or four of them off of the pole piece whan I was running two and that got old. So I got my replacements and just stuck them in the basement. If I were to consider one 15 what companys should I look at and or what other co. should I look into before I make my choice. Thanks again Bud

Thanks bassman I have gotten many mixed opinions but as for right now I am just getting prices and doing research to try and find the best possible spl sub to fit my budget and my amp oh and also space . I guess I will just start taking on all suggestions and then start researching again. Thanks to all who have posted up to this point and I look forward to getting any new info.
