RE SX vs JL 13w7

ok so i made a comment on a jl vid on youtube that jl sucks, and i sayed name a jl sub that would put up more dbs than a 15" RE SX. the guy said that a 13w7 can hit 140 which i dont believe. so my question is what will put up more dbs a single 15" RE SX or a single 13W7. please vote and comment

neither of those subs can be guaged on spl numbers. the 15 inch sx would probably be louder, but i'd still take the 13w7 in a straight up comparison, cost aside.

x2 SX will probably be louder. i would take the w7 any day, besides for the price

well i know from personal experience that my sx12 on a memphis 10000d destroyed my friends 12w7 on a 1000/1 in terms of loudness. i would say it sounded just as good too but that's all relative to the listener...

however, i wouldn't buy any new RE product. they've just been getting cheaper and cheaper ever since the buy out...

i wouldnt by anything from the X series, but my next sub will be either a dc lvl4 or lvl4xl.

love the X series. Just as good as the old 12 spoke style IMO.

my buddy did a 141.1 with a 15" RE SE LEGAL(old style) in a 3.4 @ 35 w. a JL 500.1 amp.

ur asking which is better, or will hit higher, and hes saying its the w7, its not even a contest? is it that hard to understand??

that aside, i love my re's. a lot of people hate the way they are now cuz of the buy out, mainly the cheapness of the way they are, but i love mine, they get real loud, hit the lows nicely and sound good doing it

I would take any. It's easy to get loud with any sub. I'm pretty sure PR fiesta has a bunch of 30 dollar subs in his fiesta and he's at 150. (if you see this call me! I still havent heard it..)
