i have two SX 15s that are not installed yet. just pulled all my seats, console and carpet out to lay the edead but im expecting to hit in the lower 150s with decent SQ

how would you compare these to two 10" type r s is there another place to get these subs maybe at an audio shop?

i would take an sx over a type r. it would be easier to buy direct from re than to find a shop that sells it.
