RE SX or Memphis Mojo

Which sub do you think hits harder and sounds better. Im looking to get a better system. Im going to get either two SX's or two Mojo's. Im open to other subs. Im going to be running them off of two MDC 1000s. Which would you recomend.

i like both of those subs. you'll be happy either way.

if only 1000w each.... SX's... the mojos would laugh at 1000 watts.

mojo's are more power hungry, so for the power I'd grab an SX

Honestly the sxs' are more of a musical woofer and the mojo is more of a spl sub. If you aren't going to compete I think you will like the sx a lot better.

SX = SPL

Maybe you're thinking of the SE?

I was thinking that the sx and xxx were there musical subs and the mt was the spl sub but whatever its no big deal. I actually have a sx15 and 2 sx10s that will be here 2morrow along with the merlin m2d2 and the m4d? the 4 channel.

sx isn't

it's geared more into spl

Do you have any? How do they perform. I will probably sell mine tommorrow after I get them cause I want to go back with treo but people are making me think about rd audio

its said the sx is supposed to be more towards spl, but thats relative to the RE and the SE series. the sx is definitly more musical compared to true spl subs like the mt,btl, mojo, etc...

you CAN make spl subs sound pretty **** decent with the right box, right install, and right tuning. my btl sounds amazing on music. in your case though with only 2x mcd1000's then you're better off with the sx's. you could put 4 mcd1000's ona single mojo and run it daily. definitly go with the sx's.

any beefy *** spl sub you get you'll want AT LEAST 2kw rms per sub.

I know I had a mt with a sundown saz3000 on it and either something was wrong with the sub (used) or my box was screwed up but it sounded like crap
