RE SX and Orion Build!!!

box is coming from NC, from Vitveet. I believe it will be very nice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah i just got mine not too long ago and i love how it looks. i just can't wait to see what it can do. i'll get some more pictures up tomorrow or friday. hopefully i will be completely finished in two weeks or less.

thanks! this is like pure gold to me. ha. my old setup was 2 RF P2 10's off a kenwood 1,000 watt in a prefab box.

so i'm looking for a slight increase in both spl and sq. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here's pictures of all the wiring, accessories, box, and Kinetic.

Yellow top on it's way either today or Monday, and i just need to get some 3/8" bolts and nuts for the front terminals and to put on the Kinetic in the trunk, and then some connectors or crimps or something to put the speaker wire onto the terminal. So probably this time next week and the install will be done. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Teh MAD deebeez nokked ovar my basketball goal!!!11!

Actually that was just the wind.

I think I did pretty well for my first install. I'm pretty proud of myself and love everything I have. It sounds **** good, and hits the lows pretty nice too.

The only problem i'm having is my amp gets really warm to the touch when i bump at 2/3 volume or so for a few minutes. What are the possible causes of that? Will a new battery up front help that? Or maybe relocating it somewhere?

I should also have a video up tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any tips/advice for me I would be more than happy to take in anything I can. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Looks good man! Nice fake on the last pic too lol - I was reading and wandering WTF!

Amps WILL get warm, that's completely normal. If it shuts off then that's a whole other story.

Good to hear this setup worked out - good equipment + good install FTW!

^ thanks a lot man. I was really kinda worried that i was going to mess something up, but it all came out good. i'm already looking forward to a new set-up, just to install it all again. lol. and hopefully my amp won't shut off, i'll just be careful with it.

Good job on the install. I loved my 2500d when i had it. Already have the itch to change gear huh... ha ha! once you start changing setups it never ends... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Car audio is such an expensive addiction! Ive seen so many amps done this way over the years. Especially ones that had the Molex plugs and a couple others

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
