RE SX 15" enclosure

guys i have a re sx 15" 1000rms subs... and i already have a ported box built for DD3515.. i want to use this box.. whats ur opinion guys??

here's the enclosure:

box width: 38"

box height: 18"

box depth: 19"

wood thickness: 1"

port width: 4.5"

port length: 3"

box volume(ft3): 4.647

tuned freq: 36.5

I have an SX 15" in a 4 cube tuned to 31 hz and it works awesome. only thing I can figure with it your DD box is it may sound a little "boomy" and may not want to see as much power. With the SX's you can add power w/ a smaller box. So, it would make sense a larger box would want less power. Then again I'm feeding mine 2500 watts in 4 cube. Just be careful when setting the amp and try it out.

thanks integra.. well appreciated.. so you means that my DD box will go for street bass coz of boom and my RX subs will not be out of control?? right now its under break in and only feeding it with 800 rms of power at 4ohms.. next week ill set it to 1ohm with 2000watts of sheer power..

@arizona making a new box is not an option coz the price of one box is too much... if ever my subs cant handle it im planning to modify my box by adding a layer of 1inch thick cork board on all area and apply a wood glue to harden it up.. i think this will solve the problem...

Best I can say is be careful w/ the power. For all I know I have just been lucky feeding mine 2500 watts.
