RE SR 10 @ 600WRMS but still not responsive

they have fallen to pieces, but there are 2 posts that are decent.....#'s were posted earlier in this thread
http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4104530&postcount=623 and http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4104535&postcount=624

Thank god someone posted it, had a really hard time looking for it and the amp setting sticky had over 600 posts! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Just some added info, I ran my 10" SR in a .63cuft box sealed with 500w daily. Didn't have a problem
Is that net or gross? Mine is on a .50cuft net. Does box size affect how much WRMS a sub can take? If not, i'll probablt crank it up to 500WRMS too after a couple of weeks of breaking it in at 300WRMS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I've decided to switch from sealed to ported now what i'm having a hard time decide on is whether to go with

a. the manufacturer recommended 1^ @ 35hz which peaks @ 40hz (+5db)

b. 0.75^ @ 28hz with a flatter response

I listen to mostly R&B but occasionally listen to other stuff...

Suggestions? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
