RE SE12 and JL 500/1v2 Review(Short)

If you think the highly regulated JL Audio amp will deliver much more than 500 watts, I want some of what you are smoking! That amp is so regulated, I would be shocked if it made more than 550 watts at ANY impedance that it is able to run at.

I have to agree, I dont see it giving anymore than 500-550watts. Very nice amp though.

No question about it, that is a great amp. Sure, it isn't cheap, but how many amps will deliver full rated power into 1.5 to 4 ohms with 11 to 14.5 volts of power? If you are happy with it, then that is all that matters!

I agree with everyone else, I read some where online that they benched some JL amps and they did right at their rated and not that much above rated maybe 10-30 watts RMS above

I read in pasmag that the 500/1 on a bench was some where around 543 or more watts,which they are saying that that amp is under rated.

I went to pasmag.com to prove it, but i can't find that article on there web page.

If any of you guys read PAS then you know what issue i'm talking about.
