RE SE vs SX for SQ in sealed

I previously had 2 10" SE in a simple prefab sealed enclosure powered by a BX1000D and I really liked both the SQ and the volume that they put out. Would the SX have just as much SQ as the SE but just get louder because of the higher RMS or is the SX more of an SPL sub? Also, would the SX like a sealed enclosure as much as the SE did?

SX enjoys a vented alignment. It's SQ does not compare to the SEs, but they definately get a LOT louder.

Sorry to see your SEs stolen....Ill keep you in my prayers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Any other recommendation for 2 10" SQ subs that would compare to the SEs in a sealed box? Maybe something a bit more powerful...like 2 that could handle a nine.1 or a viper 1200.1.

Most definitely a pair of RL-i subs! I've got a single RL-i... only sending 450 watts to it. I know if I had more power than that, it could take it. They're ideal for a sealed box. And I know Mike has a set that he's throwing 1000 watts at. Very good SQ subs
