I got that same combo. 2 type Rs and a hifonics 2008D. go with that. just make sure you get a nice ported box for them to really get them going.

I heard both the tuned @ 2.0 cft 31/32 hz on about 1000 watts in the same car and the type rs do get louder...but when it comes to lows and seperation of bass notes SE win my vote hands down...but if you just want a sub to vibrate the hell out of your car and make your nieghbours hate you for life the type R is the sub for you

yeah right now i got some DLS subs for SQ, so the r's will be my spl subs lol i guess...

There you go buddy, I got 2 12" w7's for my SQ subs & you will be impressed with the type R's they are pretty unbelievable for the price.
