RE se 10's in a blazer.

The box is gonna be 3.0 cft. with a 6 inch aeroport . All on the same side of the box. How close to the tailgate should it be facing back? Or can i face the subs up and port back. Whats everyones opinon's on the subs and port placement for the best spl gain in the rear of the blazer.. thanks

I run sub up ports back with 4 4" aeros.

a guy i know switched from subs and port back to subs up port to drivers side and gained over a Db.

ok if I do the subs up and port out the back or side. How much room should I give it? as in how close too the tailgate for the port back.. and i would think the box would be against the tailgate for the port out the side but then how close to the sidewall?? thanks

imm curious on how close also since i was goin to do my port and sub facing up but now im geussing to the drivers side is best but how much clearence and does this clearence matter on how much air ur pushing cause i have a 18

This outta be interesting. Had my 4 SE 10's in the back of my s10 blzr and took up the whole back....but did get loud.

I ended up going with subs up, port to the side. I have the box off center to fit my 5 gallon air tank and viair compressors on the drivers side. Got the box built and hooked up just too test it. I still have too carpet the false floor and get the air stuff on it. I use to have a viper 2500.1 on a pair of SX15's, but this is suppose to be my small system and not going big so its 400 watts of the 5 channel amp. Over all I am happy with it. Really hits low and clean but not killer impressive in loudness.
