I saw in an early post that it was recomended that ed not rate them any higher than 300 watts rms. Maybe this is why I haven't had problems. I've given them each 300 watts rms. Also how many of you had failures in a ported type box? I'm thinking maybe ed should have made the k's strictly for a sealed application. THis would reduce the risk of the sub moving past it's designed limits.

Also do you think ed will have problems with their new speaker design once they finish it?

Also not to bash RE because I may look at getting one of their subs but didn't they have a problem with using (can't remember which company's parts) parts that didn't meet some other companies expectations of quality.

What sub should I look at to have better sq than my 2003 2 10"k's and also plays louder from RE? I'm thinking of going to a single sub setup and either looking at Incriminator or RE.

Loyd, i just go by what i have observed on the forums over the years. ben has told me nothing about the past, nor do i ask. i hardly believe all that i hear. i am not here to question you either, because in all honesty, i hold you in high regards. you do have to understand where i sit, as do many others, any eD business aside. all of the views i made were my own, not any companies. i have never heard any of this untill the SIN incident, thats why i ask for facts. in my eyes, it has nothing to do with any kind of relationship i have with the company. hence the reason for this SN, it's kinda like the president trying to hit the bar. i just want to come in, sit down, grab a cold one, and shoot the shiit like the rest. i did however agree to answer questions about the new eD products, which i will uphold. neither i nor you know what will happen in the furture.
when i was in vegas, someone that i hold up high with the most respect i can possibly give, told me that the return/defect rate on the A series drivers was 100%. we both know thats not true. kinda makes you wonder, especially when i am in the position of consumer, doesn't it?

with all of that said, i am sure that we will cross paths soon, and i am sure that you, me and mark will have much better thing to discuss than this BS.

and on another note, not neccassarly aimed towards you, Chad comes in here trying to do the best that he can. he's a good guy, cut him some slack
