Ive seen some people run them for a daily loud setup. It will sound half way decent for rap music in the right box, but if you listen to other types of music, then I wouldnt get it.

mostly rap...but im looking for a really loud daily setup...but has to have some sq=] if i was to get the MT i would probably either get the 15 or 18" inch version. BUt since you guys says it sounds so bad..i guess i'll get something else...What would you recommend that will be almost just as loud for me for around the same money 500. im going to get a grand prix so i'd say around 6 or 7 cu. ft. to play with.

I am going to use an 12" MT for a daily loud setup/ comp setup. I listen to mostly rap. I think u should go ahead and get one.

Ya know, you wouldnt even be pushing the MT nearly half way im betting unless you dropped another pretty penny into your electrical system, because to push it all the way you would need a lot more then the daily system.....

Suprisingly enough, a single "normal" or "non-uber" 15" driver should be enough. Look into Eclipse Ti's, XXX's, B15's, SX maybe. Either way, there are MANY subs out there that will get PLENTY loud and be capable of sounding a lot better then an MT, and to add to that, you wont have to spend however much in a new electrical system just to push your sub stage.

BUT, nothing is going to sound good unless you install it correctly so.......

im going to be running 2 RE 12.1 amps strapped to it...the enclsoure will be either a TL,a horn or a snailshell...Most likely the snailshell..
