just wondering about the capabilities of RE MT.. i know this sub was built for brutality and made to abuse. it can handle such as 16k to 20k rms of brute power on a burp.. just confuse that some people says that the DD95xx are much better..

so how's the RE MT compared to DD95xx series?

hope i can get a decent answer from the gurus of SPL out there in US..

btw im from the Philippines and a RE subs dealer. thanks;)

that re wont take that power, and the dd holds the world record for loudest sub

Both are loud as hell. Neither will take 16K rms. a DD Z will, but not a 9500. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

well i know this sounds wierd but if i had to be honest. i think the dd's would be better than the mt's... oddly enough im running two 18" mt's but i had some dd 2500's and they sounded great. i can only imagine the 9500 series. plus the dd's are hand made so thats always a plus... im no sub mechanical expert but im sure the 2 are close in capabilities... ( probably didnt help at all. sorry. haha)

you a need a sub like this if you want to feed 16,000 watts to it....

the mts are hand made also.

everyone is chimming in with DD is this and that..

the guy is refering to the 95xx series not the 99Z ...give me a break people.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

for competition purposes the MT would outperform the 95xx series...

No..

let me add on to my previous statement.

the its overall performance and whether it excels over the 95xx is dependant on its application, is that better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

but the majority of the time the MT will outperform the 95xx

Only exception might be in Street class categories where you're limited by power and efficiency is key.... Hows thats?
