I've been out of the game for awhile.. probably 3-4 years. The equipment in my sig is what I last ran in my car before I sold the car and most of the equipment.

How is the quality of RE Audio now that US Amps bought them? I used to run 2 RE HC12's years ago before I went to DD. I have an RE10 in my truck and it's decent, but I was looking at doing a full RE setup in my new car. I'm not going to be running their low end, probably along the lines of the SrX or SxX series. I know the 12.1 was decent a few years ago, but are their amps still decent quality?

I hear the new stuff sucks, ontop of looking bad.

If you liked your DD, try Audioque if your on a budget. Fi makes stuff similar to the older RE stuff.

i concur with what has been said so far

The highend gear is still good, aka MX,XXX,MT subwoofers. as for amps the new VLX amps are very good. I am a re audio-us amps dealer and i must say not a big fan of the new x line of woofers. Still the same coil setup just cheap basket setup! I would say go with the old school re audio gear! I have tons of people buying oldschool re audio subs all the time still!

I agree with Absolute, I am running a whole RE system right now. XXX components off a MD43 and a MD3d amp to soon run a XXX sub (when my memphis stuff sells). Their components are good, I only have them int he back for now til I get my rings built for the front.

New RE is the sucks unless you order some recones from team psi at the same time you buy your subs. But then you would be better just buying a motor and basket and building your own.

the new VLX amps are very good.

They aren't available yet.

I just noticed that the XTV2 amps aren't on the site anymore. I wonder if the XTV3 are any better, or is it just another heatsink update?
