RE Audio SR10 **build log**

that was an amazing circle on that baffle....was it free-hand??
thanks dude! i really appreciate the compliment....no really i REALLY appreciate that compliment hehe. yep it was free hand.

also.... wasnt it a b1tch putting the clamps on while the glue was wet? I think i would have shot a few long brads in there just to hold it sorta straight.... although you cant argue about the results.... awesome work..
well to tell you the truth, it wasnt EXTREMELY hard. what i did, is i lightly clamped the sides i wanted together so i was barely able to move the wood, so if it shifted while i was putting the clamps on, i could move the wood back into place and tighten it good. but clamping every single side was a pain due to no screws. took forever.

no prob on teh compliment..... I appreciate good work and think it deserves to be recognized......

I see what you did on the clamps, and that seems like it would work.... thank you for explaining it.

nice cuts but sealed is no fun
my buddy wanted to take as little space as possible so ported was out of the question...although i did bump the box size .2 cubes over the reccomended for the extra lowend

install is tomorrow. maybe some pr0n as well if my card reader comes in.

you dont use screws when you build boxes? Cause I had totally planned on using them ................................. ?????
by all means, use them. if anything screws help the enclosure. since its a simple sealed box, with a woofer that wont move a XXX's amount of air its all good IMO. ahm what really holds the box together is the wood glue. the screws just reinforce it. ive put together 3 sealed boxes with no screws and they all performed very well.

now if i was using like a DD 9512 then i would definitely use screws.
