RE Audio SR Might be the worst I ever heard.

I wasn't impressed with them by any means, but at the same time, I didn't think they were that disappointing for the price bracket...

Then again, I wasn't looking for something to "hit hard"...

I am pretty sure one of them is messed up. I unplugged one side and it still sounded like total crap, did the other side and sounded very good, so I now am pretty sure I have one bad and one good Sub here.

You bought them at a pawn shop. That should say something right there. Also... 1.15 sealed per sub is a bit big for those. The SR lineup was intended for small enclosures. By putting them in a large sealed, you effectively killed any upper end output they would've had.

Try like 1.5 ported each and see how that sounds. I guarantee it will at least give you some respect for those woofers (if they are not blown of course)

just because you bought them from a pawn shop does not mean they are going to be bad. i used to sell re new at my store. we sell a lot of used subs. we check them throughly to make sure they are fine.

the sr in the right box are a very good sounding sub. as with any sub if you put them in the wrong box they will not perform as well.

I had 2 RE SR 10s in 1.05 cubes ported per at 33hz

I was running them off a sundown 1000d daily... they are rated at 300w rms not 500w

THEN I borrowed a sundown 1500d and ran them off that for a day (for the maxxsonics show) They easily took it which really impressed me. Prolly atleast 600w rms + per sub

Or maybe something is wrong with your reading and understanding? I said one was bad in my second post? Brain fart much?
