Ok I have searched and mostly for the nine.1 all I have found is availability problems and the 12.1 nobody really has reviews personally from them. I have broken them down into price, warranty, and power.

RE

1200w @ 1ohm

390 shipped

Clean look and supposed to perform around 1300w

1 year warranty

ED

1200w @ 1ohm

315 shipped

Physical appearance is okay and supposed to perform around 1100w

3 year warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The reason I am straying away from the RE amp is because their 4 channel amp isnt coming out until LATE OCT.. But then I am straying away from the ED amp because it only produces 65x4 @ 4 ohms. Please advise or give personal input on both amps and any other suggestions for matching amps would help as well with similar specs and price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .

i hear that nine.4 is underrated. so is the nine.1 they may be rated as low as 10volts. Their site says nine.1 AND nine.4 are in stock.

Doesn't look like you could go wrong with either, imo.

wtf kind of amp gets rated at 10 volts lol... quite a few amps will fry when the voltage is dropped that low.

eDs stuff is rated @ 12.5 i think.

The 9.1 will do quite a bit more than 1100- around 1400-1500. They are rated at 12.5 volts, and underrated at that.

The 9.4 is rated at 65 x 4, real output is more like 80 x 4, 200 x 2 bridged.

Lower price, longer warranty (which is also TRANSFERABLE), more accessible customer service.....you make the call.

Let the flaming begin, based on your post, and mine.

Maybe we can even get "someone" from RE on here to act like an a$$hole.....nothing promotes your company better! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

dont forget that the ed amps looks really ghey...and the re amp actually looks different than a thousand other amps out there

Personally i'd like knowing that if i had a billing problem Re would and has fixed it unlike Ed who ben personally told me i was wrong and he was right. Either amp is a good choice but me with my taste being soured by an owner, RE anyday of the week.

never thought i would see you ^ going for form over function
