Gonna pick up a Dual 2 Ohm RL-P, which means that the sub will be running off of 1ohm. The nine.1 supposodly puts out 1200 watts rms (underrated apparantly) and the Hifonics TX1005D puts out 1000 watts rms. So which is better for that sub? By better which will make the sub sound better and be safer for it? thanks.

Well I have read a bunch of posts about Hifonics amps being overrated so it probably does 850-950 watts and the eD is better quality plus the eD has 3 year warranty 1200 watts idk how much an RL-P can handle I would just watch your gains. Me personally I would go with the eD I have had nothing but good luck with the people over there.

I know that the Nine.1 is the better quality amp, but my only concern is the massive power it puts out, and if thats too much for the RL-P. It only costs 300 bucks shipped now too.

Yeah its a goodass price but id be afraid to blow that RL-P such a pretty woofer. Idk man the Hifonics would get the job done what does that thing run? 180$?
