A kid with a HW and a 5750 will rock a DD 9500 and a 5750.

Cause we all know the DD wont take even close to that daily! (I know cause I have personal experience)

With competitors... its all install dependant

ahhh ok. ill probably look for the best price then. the install will be a solid wall sealed off to the cab, tuned to mid 30's daily, mid 40's comp (interchangeable port). 12cf net, port will be 180sq in daily, 240sq in comp so far. ill have to test and try different sizes

It wouldn't surprise me if the RD's handle more abuse than the DD's.

This means absolutely nothing on the meter though... Many subs can handle more power than the dd. Hell, the jackhammer will probably handle more than out now...

DD's aren't made that well, imo. Some of the loudest guys in MECA (Team TNT Dynamite Sounds) have stopped running DD subs because they say they're loud one day, and quiet the next.

dd makes sick woofers.. never used the hw,but they do have bigger cloils also not near the cooling... people have been putting 4k on 95s since the f series..

honestly i would't use ethier for daily there designed for low excursion, high tunings and to handle short burps.... not every install is the same...
