RD Audio VS. Sundown Audio

Which should get louder at 1ohm off the amp im my sig (BXI2006d)...Ive finally narrowed it down to 2 subs...im going to stick with the single sub setup. Im thinking the nighshade because my power is closer to its rms and I heard its more of an spl subwoofer...but im not sure so vote. The subs will be in a recomended box btw...

Im also thinkin a 18" alpha vs. a 15" nightshade...? I only have round 1600w so I was thinkin the 15" alpha should be just fine...

if you run a nightshade, they can take the power. i had my 18 custom built and it will be able to handle 3000 watts easy...

Here we go again...

I'm gonna go ahead and nutswing RD on this one because I run 2 Alphas. I throw 3200 at my 10s" and they're the best SQL sub I've owned to date. Even compared to my '05 XXX I had.

Are you saying that a stock Nightshade wouldn't be able to keep up with an Alpha in terms of output or quality of sound?

It was a smartass remark cause of all the custom nightshades floatin around.

Buy that "CUSTOM" HeavyWeight with the 4" coil, throw 5k at it and never look back

i will throw a stock 15" nightshade against a stock alpha any minute of the year...

now as for as against a heavyweight, well thats another story
