RCA's to 2 sep Amps

I'm going to add another sub and amp. My question is what is the best way to run the rca's and what is the differance? Would I want to get y spliters to send the left signal to one amp and the right signal to the other. Or would I use the the output rca on my current amp to run to the new one?

y splitters work good.

The output of your current amp is the best way to go. It's why it's there in fact.

I would think using the y adaptor it would run the subs in stereo and running it through the output of my current sub would mono.

It will be stereo to the amp either way. The amp should then combine it to a mono signal unless you are running stereo subs.

go with y-adapters they work great and are alot easier to run, then new rca's. unless your amp has an rca output, then use that.
