RCA Outs.

Man, ive had bad luck the last couple days on car audio.

Toaday, I was unsrewing my speaker leads on my jensen amp, and slipped, and the body of the amp was touched to the speaker postive teminal. Now my RCA outs from my HU are screwed. When ever I plug them into the amp, it has some very weird sound to it, and major popping and everything.

Hmm, any specific parts on the HU pre-outs that I could just replace on the board? Think I could do another cheap fix on it this?

Okay, after playing around with it a little bit, I have come to the conclusion that it is not the RCA out circuits. But somewhere, I am getting a LOT of interference, which I didnt get before. This morning, I reached my hand up and played with the RCA's, and everything seemed to be fine, until I hit a bump in the road, then the noise came back. I cant quite pin-point where it comes from, but a wiggle here, or a jiggle there can make it better or worse.

Any suggestions?

Oh, and the interference is just in the RCA's, not to the speakers hooked up directly to the HU. I have knowknocepts RCA's, the top line one.

Wow, thanks for all the helpful comments I got while I was gone.

Right now, I have to listen to just stock, and it is really annoying. I need suggestions so I can get my system on the road again. Im not saying I cant troubleshoot myself, because I am the one having the problem. But 2 heads (or more) working on a problem can get better results in a quicker time.
