RCA Hook Up question?

a yes i was wondering if i had my RCA in the wrong input on the back of the deck would it make a difference in sound and power to the amps? i have sub mono amp running my 2 12s, and a 2 channel mids and highs amp, well i think i may put them in the wrong inputs on the back of my HU cause you can turn off the subwoofers on the deck and when i do it cuts out the mids and highs but the subwoofers are still on so i think the RCAs may be pluged in wrong, now my question is would that make a difference in sound output and power since they are wrong? the words still play fine and subs work fine, and if it doesnt matter i was going to just leave it so i dont have to tear open my dash to get them fixed? thanks

From my experience sub outputs are non-fade. If that's the case, you won't be able to adjust the balance of the mid/highs through the head unit.

On some head-units the sub output will have a higher preamp voltage than other outputs.
