RCA and HU help

I put a brand new amp in my car and I'm running a 10 in sub on one set of RCA cables and 2 6.5s off another set of RCA's. My current HU has 2 red input and 2 white inputs. My amp has the same thing 2 red 2 white. My new HU I just bought only has 1 red and 1 white inputs for RCA jacks. In order to run my 10 in and 2 6.5s I have to use 2 different sets of RCA's one for front and one for rear. Is there something I can buy that will make it so I can plug the set of RCA's into my HU but on the other side of the cable have 2 sets of RCA's? I'm new to car audio and don't know too much. Any help is appreciated thank you

If you are going to split the signal I would do it closer to the amps then at the deck. I believe you would get less loss in signal and wouldn't need to buy long RCA cables from the deck to the amps. Either way you do it you are gonna loose some signal strength, it might be worth upgrading the deck to with the right # of preouts.

I would rather not lose signal at all.. With that product you just showed me do I plug the single end into the red or white input then run it back to my amp?

What specific amps are you using? If the 1 set of pre's from the HU are full range, chances are one of your amps has rca pre-outs if they are decent new ones, which is the solution to the very problem you are having. For example, you would run from the HU to the bass amp, then out the bass amp to the mid/high amp.

First off, those are outputs on the back of your head unit, not inputs. They send a signal. Just so you know. On the amp, they are inputs, as that is the receiving end of the signal. But, on to the issue at hand....

Your old head unit had front and rear/sub outputs, most likely. The new one has only one set of outputs, and is most likely the rear channels. In order to use the four channel with that head unit, you will need to use rca female to male y adapters. Like this. Amazon.com: Monster ILJRY-1 F Single Female RCA to Dual Male RCA Y-Adapter: Electronics

You run a set of rca's from your head unit to the amp, and then split the rca's using the y adapter right before the amp. The end of the rca's that is the right channel will now be two right channels, same for the left. You will need to use the crossovers on your amp to set lowpass for the sub and either full or high pass for the 6.5's.

I'm using a 1200 w boss rage amp and my current HU with the front and rear outputs is a pioneer premier deh-460mp. I'm switching to a boss 612ua and that only has one output on the backs

So run 1 set of RCA's and plug the female end to the white and another female to the red and then plug those into my amp? I have no idea what cross overs are.. I am really new into this my amp has cross overs for the front and rear channel but I don't know what they do.

Just so you know, Boss is an absolutely terrible brand ...that amp is probably not even making half of the power it's rated for. Also, your old pioneer is a far better unit. Why are you changing it? I would like to save you from future headache's, if I can, and recommend returning those items. Use your old h/u if you can, and use the $70ish you spent on the amp to buy a much higher quality used amp off the classifieds here. There are tons of 4 channels sitting around the houses/garages of members here that they would get rid of for cheap. Just start a WTB(want to buy) thread saying you want a 4 channel amp, and I bet you'll have about 5-10 offers for under-$100 amps tonight, lol....

I don't need a huge amp or anything special like that. I bought the new HU for the aux and iPod hookups since my old HU doesn't have any of that I would like to listen to my own music instead of the radio
