razr2 bluetooth connection help

I have a laptop with built in bluetooth and a motorola razr2. The two devices will recognize each other but then the connection wizard will ask for a phone number to dial in for the connection. I don't know why it does that but that is as far as i am able to get. Are there any other bluetooth programs i could download off the net? Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here?

I have no clue what carrier you are using but I had issues getting BT setup with both Sprint and T-Mobile, called both of them and they had it working within a few minutes after walking me through it.
