I'll have to do an amp rack, and I've ordered some carpet and acoustic fabric to do the trunk. This weekend, I'll have a bit more money and can actually get some more stuff done

is int that kind of box a no no in a car? I was told not to do that kind of box but to do port back for more out put?

I dont think it'll matter much in my trunk, because of the way the box is...Sealing of the sides.

for my MJ-18 in my car sub up port back do you think ill gain a LIL bit more out put the box I have right now is 4cu.ft @ 33hz with 2 LIL 4" ports sub/ports on a 45

do you think ill get more out put with a bigger box/more port area?

I didn't feel like reading the whole thread. Are you going to leave the wires like that through the port?

No, I'll use binding post and some bolts to run them through the box properly.
