rattle still after damplified ?

My advice: Get some insulation foam like I did, wrap EVERYTHING that MIGHT touch/hit something else and cause rattling. That really should solve your problems.

I already had about 4 square feet of left-over sound deadener available. I used the insulation and used it EVERYWHERE I had an interface between wires/rods/etc & metal in the trunk area. I would wrap it in insulation, then put black duct tape over it.

This solved about 95% of my rattling issues, only costs me $20 and took about 3 hours (1 of which was spent on getting the dang deck lid out). From the outside of my car you can't hear anything.

ha dine car rattling like crazy dynamat helped out a lil. the lid of the trunk was the most noise making. i took wood cut it out to theshape of under the lid, carpet it, silicone and screw each corner in that made a huge difference.

Forgot to mention, expanding foam can be really useful, but I suggest the urethane like Great Stuff, rather than latex like Daptex. Urethane is messy and difficult, but latex will hold water and can [romote rusting where it comes into contact with steel.
