rate my setup!

Just to let you know you can pick up low end eclipse HU s now for around 150 bux.. Great quality, also 5 volt preouts, which is nice, especially for the sub amp you have

as long as u like how it sounds who really cares what everyone else thinks... im sure it will sounds a hell of a lot better then ur factory system.. nice amp i have one myself... dont worry about the low scores ppl are giving all that matters is how u like the sound if everything.... in my opinion theres three types of sounds ...1. BAD 2. Fair 3. Good..... urs is probly fair since it will defintly outdo a stock system and u have some ok brand items... there are alot worse out there

Not jumping in to rag on you but he asked our opinions, and hes getting low numbers mostly for the fact that the equiptment he is running has been heard in many cheap setups and is not considered to be on par with other brands.. Eclipse HU tho.. U'll be much happier:)

i agree but i dont think he was expecting some of the responses to be as harsh... kinda a sucky feeling to go out and buy ur first system only to find out that other ppl dont like it

Im leaning toward a 4 but i'll give you a 5 since this is ur 1st system. But please do

something about the HU. Sony is a good company but not for Car Audio. And ti think the Infinity is a little mainstream to me. RF i think they are over estimated, i'd go with lets say an eD NINe 4 for ur components(if u want to call them infinitys components)

Dude, don't listen to what the other people say. That system is going to sound alot better than stock, and it's not bad at all for a first system. I have almost that exact same deck, and it beats the shit soundwise out of all of my friend's JVC's, Pioneer's, Alpines, etc. People that bash that deck with no experience with it have no ****ing clue what they are talking about. I've had it over a year, and not only has it held up great, it sounds awesome. My DIY install destroys all of my friend's big money shop installed shitfests for SQ. It's one of the best decks in the price range. Also, my advice is from what I have heard, and from what I have heard alone because I don't have much real world experience with them, your front stage is very bright. I would mount the woofers low in the door, and the tweeters just above them, if possible. That way, you will reduce your listener fatigue. And my friend has 12w0's, and they sound **** good for subs in that price range. I bet yours will sound good, if properly installed. This isn't coming from a car audio guru like everyone else, so I give it an 8 for a real world first setup, good job.
