Rule No. 1

Your first fantasy rule to draft by is you must go running back/running back in the first two rounds. Look, it's all about depth. In a standard ESPN 10-team league, you have to play one quarterback and two wide receivers, but can play up to three running backs. The difference between the No. 1 quarterback last season (Peyton Manning) and the No. 10 (Vince Young) averaged out to just five points per game. Yet the difference between last season's No. 1 running back (LaDainian Tomlinson) and the No. 30 back (Julius Jones) was 14 points per game. It's two field goals a week versus two touchdowns. There's a lot of depth at quarterback and at wide receiver. You can get a productive one in the later rounds, but if you take a quarterback or receiver in the first two rounds, in Rounds 3 and 4 you'll find yourself saying things like "Uh, is Samkon Gado still available?" And no one wants that.

wow.
you guys are such idiots. lawl.

you do realize playing football is free. i will never understand the idea of paying a single person millions of dollars to catch a ball and run.

call me a gay or a fag, at least i dont slap my buddys ass when i make a good play.
It's simple economics. I doubt you can run like Barry Sanders, so there is a supply and demand issue, hence why pro athletes get paid.

I do agree with you to an extent. The comparison of 1 to 30 is a little tainted due to LT having the best season ever compiled by a runningback. He averaged 6 points more than the 2 back Larry Johnson. So you should probably compare Larry Johnson to Julius Jones to get a number there.

I believe a quarterback shouldnt be taken in the first round. If Peyton Manning or Tom Brady is avalible in mid to late round two, I would take them. After them, I would snatch up my two runningbacks.

I didnt write that. C/P.

And yeah, when and where I pick a QB really depends on where Im at in the draft order.

Yeah it was the fellas on ESPN that said that.

Another thing I forgot to say is watch your league settings. If your in a league where completions and receptions count then you really have to rank QB's at the top and also running backs who rack up receptions.

IMO you need to do the following with that list:Alexander is a top 6-8th pick

Maroney slides down a bit

Willie Parker up a few slots
Thank you.

Alex Smith and Ben R don't belong on list
But Cutler does? Thanks for showing your true homer self. I have altered my list and put the QBs at the bottom of the list, save for Peyton.

truth be told, most in shape people could train like they do (with personal trainers ect) and be athletic enough to play sports.

the thing is, i really and truly believe, the money these "athletes" get paid is WAY too much for somone playing a sport. i think all sports should be capped unless its like finals and there should be a prize for the winning team.

in my mind, there is no reason i should pay attention to somone who gets paid so much money when my job is more dangerous and hard than theirs - and i defend their rights and bla bla bla and risk my life. and they are the ones getting paid millions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
